Patrick is a great husband and father. He works very hard as a pharmacist. When we were homeschooling if the children had a tough science or math question, it was usually Dad who came up with the best explanation. Pat loves to cook and his specialty is Chinese food. He is also an avid Ohio State fan (being an alumnus).
Linda Wakefield Kelley is a former teacher (home school and public school) as well as a free-lance writer. She has published over 200 articles for such national publications as Christian Parenting Today, Discipleship Journal, and Brio. An Honorable Mention in the 73rd Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition was exciting news.
Linda earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Hawaii in 1983. Her major was Travel Industry Management (TIM). A stint as Executive Director of TIM Night 1983 was a high point. As director Linda (front row, blue dress, white lei) selected, organized, and motivated a committee of twenty students to present this annual banquet involving $17,000 in ticket money, 250 voluntary student workers, and over 450 of Hawaii’s travel industry leaders as guests
Linda returned to the mainland in 1984 and eventually settled in Cincinnati, Ohio. There she met and married Patrick in 1988. She went back to school and earned her teaching certificate and Master of Arts Degree in Education. She taught in a public school for five years before deciding to stay home with the children. In 2000 Linda decided to use her teaching expertise with our children. She homeschooled for seven years and taught every grade 1st - 12th. In 2004, Linda launched her first e-business:

In 2006, Linda began a second e-business:

It is also steadily gaining an audience and regular visitors.

Sean is a graduate student at Duke University pursuing a Master in Theological Studies. He was homeschooled from the sixth grade through the twelfth grade. Sean has a great sense of humor and his witticisms generate many groans as well as a few yucks. Reading is a favorite past time. Sean also enjoys hanging with friends, tennis, and Christian concerts.
Scott attends the University of Cincinnati where he is majoring in business through the Lindner Honors-PLUS program. Providing extensive real-world experience as well as travel opportunities are major perks of the program. Scott is currently very involved in his fraternity and campus leadership positions. He loves sports (watching and participating).
Sarah is a senior in high school and will be attending Grove City College in the fall, majoring in Education. She also loves sports. Sarah has competed in gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline, diving, and dance. She is currently participating in tennis. She also enjoys church activities, Christian concerts, and being with friends.
