A home school curriculum fair is a fantastic source of information! Right?!
Moms new to homeschooling can find out how to get started. Veterans can check out the latest curriculum resources. So, who would pass up the chance to attend one? Certainly not I. Give me a free weekend, a willing babysitter (family members count), and the money to cover hotel, gas, and entrance fees and I’m there. The problem is those commodities are sometimes harder to come by than precious gemstones.
My goal with this page is to deliver a home school curriculum fair to you without you're having to leave your computer chair. I've searched high and low for as many "free samples" as I can find. By perusing these you can get a sense of what various curriculum providers offer before you buy.
Pour another cup of tea and relax. Let me do the work for you. Check back often as I'll be adding new "free samples" as I find them.
Homeschool Buyers Co-op
is an amazing addition to our home school curriculum fair. It is brought to you via a California-based nonprofit* cooperative and is dedicated to helping homeschoolers save money on their purchases of curricula, educational media, software, computers, science kits, educational games and toys, supplies, and more.
School districts get discounts for educational products and services because they are able to buy in bulk. This co-op works on the same principle for homeschoolers. It's free to join the co-op and then your purchases are added to those of other homeschoolers -- hence the discount.
There are also numerous free resources available including lesson plans and activities for all age levels. This is a fabulous resource that will definitely save you time and money.
Heart of Wisdom Publications
offers a unit-study approach designed to keep your children on the wise path. This is a time proven home school curriculum choice that is outstanding. You can find many "freebies" including several free curriculum samples. And, if you're scrapbookers like we are, you're gonna love their new
Scrapbooking to Learn Web site.

Here is a question and answer on the topic of evolution from Answers in Genesis. Be sure to check back regularly as the question will rotate from time to time. If you'd like to locate other places on our site where Answers in Genesis is featured go to our
SiteSearch page.
Answers in Genesis also offers ten online lessons that are fabulous. You do need to buy the book to go along with the course. However, the lessons themselves are free. Check them out
here.
In addition, Answers in Genesis has several online study guides. Most of these online lessons and study guides are geared for 7th grade through college ages. However, there is one study guide targeted for younger children (The Ocean Book is for ages 7-adult). Pick up your study guides
here.
Kono's has been a favorite for many. It is a unit approach and very hands-on. Konos trains children in Godly character by focusing lessons on character traits. The curriculum arrives in a fun box or bag. No Home School Curriculum Fair would be complete without a Konos sample.
