Home School Curriculum Fair

A home school curriculum fair is a fantastic source of information! Right?!

Moms new to homeschooling can find out how to get started. Veterans can check out the latest curriculum resources. So, who would pass up the chance to attend one? Certainly not I. Give me a free weekend, a willing babysitter (family members count), and the money to cover hotel, gas, and entrance fees and I’m there. The problem is those commodities are sometimes harder to come by than precious gemstones.

My goal with this page is to deliver a home school curriculum fair to you . . . at home. I've searched high and low for as many "free samples" as I can find. By perusing these you can get a sense of what various curriculum providers offer before you buy.

Pour another cup of tea and relax. Let me do the work for you. Check back often as I'll be adding new "free samples" as I find them.

Homeschool Buyers Co-op is an amazing addition to our home school curriculum fair. It is brought to you via a California-based nonprofit* cooperative and is dedicated to helping homeschoolers save money on their purchases of curricula, educational media, software, computers, science kits, educational games and toys, supplies, and more.

School districts get discounts for educational products and services because they are able to buy in bulk. This co-op works on the same principle for homeschoolers. It's free to join the co-op and then your purchases are added to those of other homeschoolers -- hence the discount.

There are also numerous free resources available including lesson plans and activities for all age levels. This is a fabulous resource that will definitely save you time and money.

Here is a unit-study approach designed to keep your children on the wise path. Heart of Wisdom is a time proven home school curriculum choice that is outstanding. You can find many "freebies" including several free curriculum samples. And, if you're scrapbookers like we are, you're gonna love their Scrapbooking to Learn Kits.

Tapestry of Grace Publications uses a "Read-Think-Write" approach to give students a classical education. You can sample this curriculum for free to see if it works for you. There are two tutorial trials to choose from (Go to Egypt or Sail to the New World) or you can sample the digital edition. Begin your free three-week trial today!
